As a psychotherapist and Life-Coach I can help you achieve the successes in life that you deserve. My approach to individual therapy is to utilize my 35 years of psychotherapy experience to stabilize your foundation and then utilize that same level of experience as a life-coach to bring you to new levels of self-awareness which will provide the self-confidence needed to achieve your goals and live your best life.
My experience as a therapist has taught me that the past, while important, is not a destination. Ultimately, we all want to transcend our past and create the life we've dreamed of but despite our best intentions we can get stuck in familiar patterns and mired in the past, going from therapist to therapist or counselor to counselor.
Life coaching, while acknowledging the importance of the past, helps you put it in the context of a chapter, not the whole story. By reclaiming the innate wisdom, instinct and wholeness that you lost due to abuse, neglect, trauma or loss, you can begin to reclaim the connection, joy and instinctive passion that are your birthright. In my individual therapy and life coaching sessions, I am personally committed to making sure my clients feel safe, heard and respected. This is one reason that I do not close my therapy sessions in a traditional way and I do not adhere to a strict one-hour limit. I use my instincts and observations during a client session to guide us to the right time to close, ensuring that you are left with a sense of resolution and hope.

Over the past 35 years as a licensed psychotherapist and addiction counselor, my clients have achieved remarkable successes due to my counseling approach which is to treat the whole person and the chemical abuse. By building a solid personal foundation using psychotherapy my clients find continued success in many aspects of their lives which enables them to choose continued recovery.
Relapse does not have to be a continued part of addiction recovery.
